So, if Incanto Heaven and Incanto Charms had a love child, Oscar Tropical Flower would be it. While this fragrance doesn’t smell like Incanto Charms right off the bat, it smells almost identical to Incanto Heaven. The only difference is that Oscar Tropical Flower has a bit of an extra kick to it that Incanto Heaven does not – which is where you would add a dash of Incanto Charms and there you have it – Oscar Tropical Flower is born!
I was rather excited to try this perfume; the notes were appealing to me, and I was a bit intrigued by the line of Oscar de la Renta fragrances that it belongs to (there are several other Oscar fragrances that have the same bottle design with a different color scheme, including Oscar Violet, Oscar Red Orchid, Oscar Pink Lilly, Oscar Citrus, to name a few). While this fragrance is a bit too little fruity/floral and a tid bit too much spice, I would still wear it over Incanto Heaven in a heartbeat; at least it’s not just boring, drab apple juice that I’d smell like, which is what Heaven seemed to be on my skin (read our review of Incanto Heaven here). To Oscar Tropical Flower’s credit, it does have that extra needed boost of scent to give it the edge between the two.
However, that doesn’t mean this is even something I’d even wear again. While I can definitely recommend it to you if you’re looking for a kinda fruity, slightly spicy Summer fragrance, it’s just not my particular cup of tea.

This isn’t a bad fragrance by any means, but it’s not something I’ll ever wear again. A bit too much spice with my fruit, but all in all it’s a recommendable Summer fragrance to any gal who’s not afraid of a little kick (like I am).
