I recently added a sample vial of Rockin’ Rio to my latest FragranceX.com order, solely for reviewing purposes. I have something against Escada, even though I like a lot of their scents. To me, most of their limited edition summer fragrances are extremely similar, and frankly, that doesn’t impress me much. I am a proud owner of Pacific Paradise, though, and a part of me just can’t give Escada up.
CLASSIFICATION: Fruity, feminine, tropical
AGE GROUP: College
SIMILAR SCENT(s): Vaguely reminiscent of other Escada fragrances

The summery colors of the bottle, along with the Roxy name, caused this impulse buy of mine. I had never read any reviews, and there was no tester, so I was in for a surprise (whether it was a good one or a bad one)!
CLASSIFICATION: unisex, watery
AGE GROUP: perfect for anyone
SIMILAR SCENT(s): Anna Sui Secret Wish, CK One

I had tested the original Vera Wang Princess, but was not impressed; for one thing, I was not expecting a floriental fragrance from something that was marketed for an extremely young age group. I read about Vera Wang Flower Princess, and was intrigued. Supposedly, Vera Wang created this fragrance for the Japanese market, which likes lighter, sweeter fragrances according to the review I read. As a result, Vera Wang Flower Princess became available for a limited time in the United States, and I took the plunge before it was too late.
CLASSIFICATION: Soft, feminine, and flowery.
AGE GROUP: college
SIMILAR SCENT(s): Flower Princess vaguely reminds me of J.Lo Glow, just with a much more floral twist
FORM: Eau de Toilette

I bought this on a whim, with a gift card that was going to expire. I wanted to smell it prior to purchase, as I hadn’t even so much as READ about it at that point, but there was no tester. Since I had to spend the gift card or lose it, I went ahead and got it. Quite the opposite of my Wrapped With Love purchase, Guess New went down in history as one of my best “uneducated” perfume purchases.
CLASSIFICATION: clean, fresh, feminine
AGE GROUP: college
SIMILAR SCENT(s): Versace Bright Crystal
