Escada launched their limited edition summer scent, Sexy Graffiti, in 2002. Hailed as a young, fresh, and fruity fragrance, I took it upon myself to sample it. I do not have much luck when it comes to the Escada line, and that’s probably for the best; as most of their perfumes are limited edition, purchasing a full size bottle of one of their perfumes no longer in production may just set you back $100-$200.

I bought Ghost Summer Flirt on a whim, I had never smelled it but it was a very bargain price; an offer I couldn’t refuse. What a unique excitement a scent addict feels when she gets a new bottle of perfume in the mail! Nina Ricci launched a new, special edition version of the ever-so-popular Nina (from 2006) earlier this year. The fragrance is supposed to be a younger, lighter, and sweeter version of the original version, and those that have smelled it have likened it to a candy store reminiscent of the olden days. I attempted to locate this perfume at my local mall, but without success. Desperate to sample what I figured would be a delectable scent straight from Heaven, I took the plunge and purchased a full size bottle on eBay.

Upon the discovery that there are gourmand fragrances that appeal to me (i.e. Hilary Duff’s Wrapped With Love, 2008), I decided to purchase a sample vial of Aquolina’s Pink Sugar with my last fragrancenet.com shipment. I was counting on hating this fragrance, and let’s just say that I was definitely not disappointed.

Coming in September 2008, Harajuku Lovers perfume by Gwen Stefani! Five scents will be released in this line, all available in two sizes (10 mL and 30 mL) and in solid perfume form (as a set of all five). Each fragrance is molded after Gwen’s four real-life Harajuku girls (Love, [Lil'] Angel, Music, and Baby). The fifth scent shall represent their leader, “G.”

I ordered a sample of this on a whim while purchasing some other fragrances. I pretty much knew nothing about it, other than that it was a fruity/floral scent, which is what I usually go for. I hadn’t read any reviews about it prior to adding it to my order, but would have probably still added it even if I knew what a terrible reception it had with most online perfume reviewers.
