I was intrigued when I first saw Black at my local TJ Maxx. I had never gave it a second thought, but for some reason when I see bargains there, I simply cannot turn away.

As a fan of Coach purses, I couldn’t wait to try the perfume by Coach. Actually, I must have been living in a bubble, because I wasn’t even aware that such a delicacy existed until a few days ago. I immediately found my way to eBay.com to purchase a sample vial, and the rest is history.

As reported by india-server.com, popcrunch.com, and highbridnation.com
Mariah Carey has recently announced details regarding the new perfume that she has been working on with Elizabeth Arden. The fragrance is set to be a flirty floral, with notes including the Tahitian Tiare flower, lily of the valley, pink peony, and white musk*.

Mariah Carey
Set to launch in August 2008, the bottle will be the same shape and design of her original fragrance (“M”), but this time with a girly, romantic hue of pink with a mother-of-pearlesque sheen in which blue and yellow will also be present. Interestingly enough, the bottle was not designed by Mariah – it was created by Jean Antretter, the senior design director at Elizabeth Arden.

Luscious Pink by Mariah Carey
Says Mariah, “Elizabeth Arden has been a fantastic partner and the end creation of Luscious Pink is beyond my expectatons. The response from my fans with my debut scent was overwhelming, and I can’t wait to see what happens with my second Luscious fragrance.”
Of the scent, Mariah explains that it is, “feminine, flirtatious and fun, and truly reflects where I am in my life now.”
Mariah will have some competition this August, as that is also when fellow songbird Jessica Simpson will release her debut perfume, Fancy, which is an altogether different scent (word has it that Fancy will be a floral-oriental fragrance, which can sometimes be a bit on the stronger/spicier side of scents).

I ordered a sample of this on a whim while purchasing some other fragrances. I pretty much knew nothing about it, other than that it was a fruity/floral scent, which is what I usually go for. I hadn’t read any reviews about it prior to adding it to my order, but would have probably still added it even if I knew what a terrible reception it had with most online perfume reviewers.

To be quite honest, I don’t remember how I came across Goddess. I remember I had already heard of it and sampled it very briefly (a quick sniff of the nozzle), and thought it smelled fine.. then one day it had just been sprayed in the fragrance department and I was hooked. I asked what the scent was and when I was told it was Goddess, I knew it was time to go out and purchase it.
