I guess you can say that I have a soft spot for Davidoff, as Cool Water was my fragrance of choice in my early high school days. I saw Cool Water Game at my local Marshall’s ($8.99 USD for a 1 fl oz bottle!) over the weekend, and decided to give it a try.

Yet another good ol’ impulse buy, the cute pink box of XOXO was what really drew me to it. I knew nothing of this fragrance, having never read reviews, and there not being a tester where I bought it (it was purchased at the same time as my Roxy Love; see two entries back from this one).

I had heard of Versace Bright Crystal (and even had smelled it) before, but I must not have gotten a very good whiff, combined with that I didn’t get to smell it on my own skin (a co-worker brought it in, but I was already wearing perfume; I only got to smell it on other girls), because it didn’t leave a lasting impression. Upon receiving a sample of it a few days ago, I was eager to test it on myself. I was very pleasantly surprised!

I was curious to smell Curious by Britney Spears again (excuse the terrible pun); I had sampled her debut perfume when it first came out, and ruled it out right away. However, I saw a roll-on scent stick when shopping for perfumes today that was ultra-cheap, and couldn’t resist.

I bought this on a whim, with a gift card that was going to expire. I wanted to smell it prior to purchase, as I hadn’t even so much as READ about it at that point, but there was no tester. Since I had to spend the gift card or lose it, I went ahead and got it. Quite the opposite of my Wrapped With Love purchase, Guess New went down in history as one of my best “uneducated” perfume purchases.
