Hi, my name is Jackie, and I am a scent addict. I was born and bred in northeastern Ohio, with no immediate plans to leave… unfortunately. I am 25 years old. I enjoy reading, going to the movies, talking on the phone, shopping/internet shopping, bargains!, tattoos, piercings, travel, and video games. I am a total book worm, reading about two to three novels per week. I am also a book snob, as I like my books to be brand new, as opposed to used. I just do not enjoy reading a book that the last person enjoyed while picking their nose through every chapter.
I have enjoyed perfumes from a very young age – my very first perfume obsession was when I was about twelve years old, and discovered Eternity by Calvin Klein. I begged my dad to take me to the drugstore so I could get a generic version. I’ve been hooked ever since, but nowhere near as badly as I am now.
Throughout the years, I have had the following perfume trademarks, each of which lasted long periods of time: Coolwater by Davidoff, Happy by Clinique, and Romance by Ralph Lauren.
I now enjoy variety, and I am willing to sample any and all perfumes. I like fresh, fruity, floral, and feminine scents, with no particular favorite “type”.
I have absolutely no qualifications for writing this blog – I just like perfume. That’s reason enough for me!

Hi! I’m Rebecca. I’m originally from Texas, and have lived in Ohio for years and years. I’m 26 years old. Some of my non-perfume related interests include documentaries, forensics, surfing the internet, shopping, animals, tattoos, piercings, going to the movies, and taking pictures! I am also very much addicted to Facebook and Myspace, as much as I hate to admit it. Oh, and I’ve never met a purse that I didn’t like!
I am also very much into music – I constantly have it playing! When I wake up, the first thing I do is turn the radio on! When I’m working I’ve gotta have music. And when I’m just sitting around.. silence is NOT golden! The louder, the better. I like everything from metal to pop to rap to industrial!
I have always enjoyed a good perfume, but I never really was into fragrances (like I am now) until perhaps about a year or so ago. My new found interest quickly spread into a starving obsession – one that needed to be fed at least once a week to be anywhere near satisfied. I am currently the most interested in feminine and fresh fragrances, but my heart belongs to the fruity, flirty ones. I love a light-hearted, fun perfume that makes you feel good. I currently own approximately 20 to 30 fragrances, but only about five to eight of those are in my heavy rotation (being worn once a week or so, give or take). At any given time, I am usually expecting a package in the mail with new perfume treats to sample (or old tried and true replacement goodies to savor). While I don’t particularly favor woodsy, spicy fragrances, there are a handful that have sparked a genuine interest from me, however, I always return to my old [girlie scented] favorites.
I think the reason that I am so into perfumes is because it doesn’t matter what you look like – if you like a perfume, wear it! You don’t need to have “the body” for a certain fragrance, or worry if wearing a perfume that you really like is going to look bad on you. It’s a quick, easy way to brighten your day and make you feel better about yourself!
