I purchased a mini bottle of Maria Sharapova based on reviews I read, which namely claimed that it was a light, floral, sporty fragrance. I am ashamed to admit that I had no idea who Maria Sharapova was, aside from being an attractive blonde as displayed on the packing for her perfume, and that didn’t much matter to me. The notes seemed non-offensive, if not a little mysterious (hello, wimbledon grass?), and, although I know not to judge a book by its cover, the bottle appear to house some light and feminine juice.
CLASSIFICATION: Feminine, floral
AGE GROUP: Perfect for anyone

I had heard of Versace Bright Crystal (and even had smelled it) before, but I must not have gotten a very good whiff, combined with that I didn’t get to smell it on my own skin (a co-worker brought it in, but I was already wearing perfume; I only got to smell it on other girls), because it didn’t leave a lasting impression. Upon receiving a sample of it a few days ago, I was eager to test it on myself. I was very pleasantly surprised!

While cruising You Tube for some other, more specific videos, I came across this and thought it was hilarious. A bit slow moving, the end result is worth it. This parody reminded me in particular of the commercial for Mariah Carey’s perfume (“M”).

Having been relatively satisfied with Kimora Lee Simmons’s first fragrance (Baby Phat Goddess), my interest was piqued when I heard of Fabulosity.

I must warn you that this is my absolute favorite fragrance, hands down. I will try to write this review as constructively as possible, but if it just comes across as me proverbially gazing starry-eyed into the beautiful bottle of this delicious parfume extraordinaire, then… sorry.

I had tested the original Vera Wang Princess, but was not impressed; for one thing, I was not expecting a floriental fragrance from something that was marketed for an extremely young age group. I read about Vera Wang Flower Princess, and was intrigued. Supposedly, Vera Wang created this fragrance for the Japanese market, which likes lighter, sweeter fragrances according to the review I read. As a result, Vera Wang Flower Princess became available for a limited time in the United States, and I took the plunge before it was too late.
CLASSIFICATION: Soft, feminine, and flowery.

SIMILAR SCENT(s): Flower Princess vaguely reminds me of J.Lo Glow, just with a much more floral twist

I was curious to smell Curious by Britney Spears again (excuse the terrible pun); I had sampled her debut perfume when it first came out, and ruled it out right away. However, I saw a roll-on scent stick when shopping for perfumes today that was ultra-cheap, and couldn’t resist.

I am not a fan of many Bath & Body Works scents, so I was very leery of even entering the store despite the fact that I had a $25 gift card in my wallet. It seems as though every time I find a scent I like while browsing their vast array of lotions, perfumes, and cleansers, I take it home only to realize that I made a horrible mistake.
